Bio
Formed in 1995 by art students Andrew Dickson (vocals/guitar) and Sasha Roiz (drums/vocals), the cult band Tricky Woo was conceived partly as a tribute to the rock pantheon, partly as a conceptual art project. Combining flashy technicolor artwork (courtesy of frontman Andrew Dickson) with riffs borrowed as much from the Stooges as from less likely influences (Uriah Heep, AC/DC, and even Aerosmith), Tricky Woo breaks away from garage rock and embraces an over-the-top acid punk sound, with fuzz and space echo infused guitars.
