Anna Arrobas

Anna Arrobas and her band, consisting of Shane Hoy, Jesse Osborne-Lanthier and Asaël Richard-Robitaille (both members of L’Oeil nu, Marie Davidson’s band on the album Renegade Breakdown), craft songs that go from ornamental melodic dreampop to otherworldly tearjerker folk. That signature sound is emboldened by a dense “wall of sound” instrumentation inspired by shoegaze and sludge metal and unified by Anna’s haunting falsetto.
