Six years after the release of his debut solo album French Kiss, rapper and singer Joe Rocca (founding member of Dead Obies) returns with the double single Focus / 21 Grammes that showcases two distinct facets of his art. Accompanied by Félix Petit (Les Louanges, Hubert Lenoir, etc.), Jean-Michel Frédéric (Dominique Fils-Aimé, Loud, KNLO, etc.) and Worry (Greg Beaudin, Yuki Dreams Again, etc.) on production, the songwriter is about to unveil his new incarnation, that of a unique artist bridging pop, rap, funk, soul and R&B. Focus offers sensual synth funk with an infectious groove, while 21 Grammes showcases the artist's chiselled, introspective rap.
