Bio
Laurence-Anne is a singer-songwriter whose first album, Première apparition, reached the long list of the Polaris Prize. After seducing the College Radio circuit and the critics alike, she traveled to Quebec’s main festivals and explored France, before returning to record Accident, a rockier EP, with hints of punk, indie pop and tropical tones. A fertile and surprising sound exploration that led to Musivision, a second album filled with dreampop, artrock, cosmic funk and synthwave. Co-produced with Félix Petit (Les Louanges), the opus is a turning point in her career, with its polished production and catchy grooves. After touring in Canada, Europe and in the US, she took part in various writing workshops, and is now working on her next album, to be released in the fall of 2023.
